Description

The committee is tasked with improving the cleanliness/appearance of Wicker Park Bucktown's streetscapes and other sustainability initiatives. Clean, Green & Transportation oversees all of our vendor contracts for Landscaping, Litter Abatement, Graffiti Abatement, Tree Care, Sidewalk Snow Removal and more.

This committee also oversees Streetscaping and Placemaking in Wicker Park Bucktown. This includes all of the SSA's street furniture, including orange branded Bike Racks, Benches, and Planters and more. WPB SSA #33's Clean, Green & Transportation Committee is pro-public transit, pro-active transit and is proud to be part of the most bike-friendly and pedestrian-friendly neighborhood in Chicago. This committee has worked closely with the Chicago Dept. of Transportation (CDOT) on targeted improvements along Milwaukee Avenue.
